Our team was tasked with the safe demolition & removal of the existing gantry crane and earthquake strengthening works as part the Nuffield Street rejuvenation works for Scentre Group.

We were presented with a 6 storey apartment block on the narrow sections in Kingsland, that overtime had come to state of disrepair and council checking into ensure it was being removed. We undertook the removal of the superstructure by hand behind a scaffold screen, before moving in with mechanical means allowing the excavators to bring the reinforced concrete structure down safely before employing a vast propping scheme to hold up the retaining wall to Dominion Road.

When we initially turned up on site to strip out the remains of bathroom & kitchen, we weren't quite sure where this journey would take with this valued client. We have gone on to help reconstruct the foundations & historial dwelling to its former glory. As a prominent Glendowie masterpiece. Following close detailing from engineers, we have demolished & made way for new foundations, propping out way through the historical superstructure.
