As the demolition is completed, the site needs to be cut to formation. Gain the benefit of using the same contractor to bulk out the reduced level dig or cutting to formation, with machinery already mobilised and anestablish site presence.
We are able to reduce programme duration as works can safely be managed under one contractor working to a single sequence reducing double handling, mobilisation and awaiting confirmation of hand overs.
As we have experienced we can add value to the project by utilising our time on site to re-establishing the formation level post removal of the superstructures during demolition.
Through either cutting of the site through our earthworks or building up to construction level. It make sense that the team behind creating the excavation gets you back to construction level.
To ensure stabilisation of the subbase during the interim period between enabling works and construction, we can discuss through design either a mulch, lime or run off scheme to prevent weathering.
